Admissions Overview

Thank you for considering us for your child’s learning adventure.

Because Flourish is very different from most schools in India, and will not be affiliated to any board, it is imperative for us to make sure we will be a good fit for your family.

For the academic year 2020-21 (which starts June 2020 and ends March 2021), we will be starting with our Elementary Studio in the Kalyani Nagar / Koregaon Park areas in Pune.

For this year, the studio will cater to students in the age groups of 5 – 9 or those traditionally in grades 1 to 4.

The Elementary Studio will grow up to grade 5, after which children will move to our Middle School Studio (grades 6 – 8) and then finally into our Launchpad Studios (grades 9-12).

For this academic year, we are planning on enrolling a maximum of 8 children into our Elementary Studio.

The Admission Process

The admission process will involve the following steps:

Step 1 – Let’s make sure our values align

Please go through the “Core Values” and “Inspiration” section videos on our website which explain the concepts on which our school is based. The video by Sugata Mitra underlines our commitment to becoming a learner-driven environment in which we believe that children can teach themselves anything – with the right tools and guidance.

Please do read “
A Letter to a Parent” in which we explain why we are building this school and how it will work.

Step 2 – Let’s connect

If you like what you see so far, we should meet. Please fill in our “Let’s Talk” form and we’ll schedule a meeting (either on phone, in person or at an open-house).

Step 3 – Audition

The Audition process involves us meeting with both the parents and our young learner in-person to discuss if this would indeed be a good fit for your family.

This will not be an interview or test – but rather a casual chat to ensure we are all on the same page that we can truly serve your family well.

Step 4 – Enrollment

Once everything is set, you will be invited to be part of our learner-driven community.
